Construction Continues Through Early December on Ridge Pike in Plymouth Township

The Montgomery County Commissioners announced today that weekday lane closures are scheduled through early December on Ridge Pike in Plymouth Township for road reconstruction and utility relocations.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

No travel restrictions will be in place on Ridge Pike in Plymouth Township between 6:00 AM Wednesday, November 22 through 9:00 AM Monday, November 27 for the Thanksgiving Day Holiday Weekend.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather-dependent.

This work is the first stage of Section B of the County’s Ridge Pike Improvement Project to reconstruct Ridge Pike between Belvoir Road and Chemical Road.

J. D. Eckman, Inc. of Atglen Borough, Chester County is the contractor for this $39.2 million project. Construction is financed with county, state, and federal funds.
