The Montgomery County Commissioners announced today that a traffic shift with intermittent stoppages and lane closures is planned on Ridge Pike east of Alan Wood Road from 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 24, to 6:00 AM the following morning.
The shift will move traffic onto the newly reconstructed eastbound lanes of Ridge Pike to allow for the contractor to begin westbound reconstruction.
Additionally, from 9:00 PM on Friday, July 25, to 5:00 AM the following morning, intermittent stoppages are planned at the intersection of Ridge Pike and Carland Road for utility work.
Delays are expected and motorists are advised to allow extra time for travelling through the work areas or to use an alternative route.
