The Montgomery County Commissioners announced today that Ridge Pike will be reduced to a single lane with intermittent 15-minute traffic stoppages between Belvoir Road and Industrial Way on Monday, April 28, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM the following morning.
In case of inclement weather or other circumstances, Tuesday, April 29, will be the alternate date for this work.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time to travel through the work area or use an alternate route.
The travel restrictions are necessary so the contractor can place deck beams on the westbound side of the new bridge carrying Ridge Pike over the Norfolk Southern railroad tracks.
